GHC Archaeology & Heritage was commissioned to produce an historic environment desk-based assessment to inform a planning application for a sustainable agriculture development supported by carbon negative resource management and landfill at Park Grounds Farm. This development will be of significant environmental benefit to the community making use of the natural gases that escape from the landfill to heat movable greenhouses. A low potential for archaeological remains dating from the prehistoric to post-medieval periods was concluded.
